Lorna is a member of the Governing Council of St. Karol School of Nursing, an associate Professor, Consultant Paediatrician and a Senior Lecturer, University of Ghana Medical School. She is the Head of the Oncology Unit at the Child Health Department of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital and she has done extensive research on Meningitis in children and complications of children with HIV/AIDS.
Dr. Lorna Renner is the Ghana Coordinator of the twin program set up by the Department of Paediatric Haematology and Oncology, Royal Hospital for Sick Children, Edinburgh and the Children’s Cancer Unit at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital enabled by Afrox and World Child Cancer.
Lorna is an alumina of the University of Ghana and a product of Wesley Girls High School in Cape Coast – Ghana. She has eyes for correction and is a very focussed individual. She is happily married and a proud mother of three.
